Hi Steven,, great image, wonderful looking building in the middle of nowhere, worth stopping for, you have thought about your composition and framing, I think a crop on the bottom to the brick would eliminate the shadow, take the building off centre, this would add a sense of vastness of the image by having more sky, |

Hi Jennifer, interesting image, The vintage writing gives an idea of the age and what the product sold was, perhaps a little tight in the crop, particularily at the top, doesn't allow the viewer to see a more of the building which would add perspective to what you are looking at, nice colour range, with good contrast against the boarded up windows and doorway which could be lightened a little, as your eye goes straight past up to the windows. |

Hi Fat, Interesting building, perhaps a different culture from another time, the wide angle suits, showing all of those arches and nature encroaching on the building, wonderful backlighting and sunflare adds to the ambience of the image. |

Hi Russell , lovely tones, adds to the sense of abandonment, the late sun on a winters days creates long shadows and lovely colours on the dead grasses, well placed in the frame, making the building the focus. |

Hi Tim, nicely spotted, the old stone bricks, marble and stone work around the arch make the church quite old, would have been quite grand in its heyday. I like the way you have filled the frame with the doorway, could be straightened a litle, the ivy taking over adds to the abandonment and the piece of wood definetely says no entry, perhaps a little more contrast could make the image pop a little. |
