Hi Steven, Wow what a great piece of history to be able to visit, looking very closed, great leading lines of the cell doors leading into the light with the rays shining into the nearest cell, there are a lot of different angles and shapes, the muted tones suits the image. |

Hi Paul, The building and surrounds is looking very sad and neglected, and definitely closed, good to be able to see how it looked in it's heyday,
the use of the wide angle allows you to get all in the frame, the nice sky and background allows you to see the building in its environs.(being a Sony user, I will admit to a little camera envy with that A1 you have) |

Hi Barbara, lovely image of a closed sunflower, the square crop highlights the flower, image is sharp, a good DOF with the background blurred and the leaves in focus, the light on the side makes the image. |

Hi Fat, The mono tonal range is wonderful, the gentleman sitting with his eyes closed is in focus, with the backgound of the train showing that it is moving, lovely treatment. |

Hi Russell, lovely old church, the door is definitely shut, the gravestones in the foreground adds perspective, the use of heavy grain in the image gives it a grungy feel, which highlights the colour and the texture of the bricks. |

Hi Tim, very innovative, the panoramic image shows the lake in its entirety, the sky is very complimentary. |
