13 Jul 23 Comment Hi Steven, Lovely single rose placed well in the frame, the red's have been handled very well, the background is blurred nicely as not to distract but allow interest, the portrait orientation works well, allowing the background not to be cut off. I know you like to keep manipulation low, however the removal of the leaves that are in focus on the top right would enhance. Jul 19th
13 Jul 23 Comment Hi Paul, Lovely image, the narrow depth of field works very well here with the girl and small line of poppies in focus, wonderful colour of the red, not too overpowering with the white and green contrasting well, the trees in the background are blurred nicely to give an great sense of depth and distance to the image, great title. 13 Jul 23 Comment Hi Barbara, lovely image with great composition, and wonderful colours in the tulips, cropping the trees works well as you focus only on the flowers, nice and sharp all the way through the image, the eye follows the green of the grass and you stop and look at the perfection of the blooms.

13 Jul 23 Comment Hi Russell, Lovely Day Lilly, good depth of field with the petals and stamen in focus, the yellow has been handled well, great background with the blue hydrangea providing good contrast, the square crop suits well, making the flower the focal point. Jul 19th
13 Jul 23 Comment Hi Tim, Nice composition with the orchid on the diagonal, background is great with no distractions, allowing the orchid to be the focus, leaves are in focus where they need to be, the centre whites are a little blown out, but would be difficult to manage in camera. Jul 19th
