Thanks for your comments, you made some good points. I certainly missed the horizon and should have caught that. I just did a quick edit of image 4651 (original 1) and I think it is as least as good as the stacked image. What do you think? |

I recently had a couple of these visit my backyard. I tried to photograph them, but didn't get any shots nearly as nice as this. As you said, they move fast and certainly didn't pose for me!
I like the pose you captured, the colors, overall lighting and shutter speed you used showing the rapidly moving wings.
I find the petals at the bottom of the image a little distracting. Did you consider cropping them out? I have made a slightly tighter crop of your image. What do you think?

I like the composition you have chosen as well as the colors and textures that you have captured.
Personally, I prefer the colors and lighting of the original image. To me, it feels more like a sunset and there is a lot more detail in the highlight areas of the tree trunk.

I think this is a very nice image/portrait of the bison with nice lighting, color, depth of field and catchlight in its eye. I like how you captured the texture in the fur and hide and surrounding environment.
Just currious, do you have an image that shows a little more of the surrounding environment? |
