I agree that with your point of focus being on the white cub, the cubs in the background do not necessarily needed to be removed or blurred. I think the cubs in the background help show the familial relationship and add to the image, not detract.
I made a similar crop as Janice did but in a square format to keep from cropping the head off the back cub. I did not think any additional blur was needed. What do you think? |

I like how you left a little color in your edit and I do think it makes the horses pop and it adds interest. |

I agree that B&W works very well with this image. I like the leading lines and how the cowboys and their horses are framed by the nearby trees. |

I think this is a great subject and the dust storm certainly adds an interesting dimension. Personally, I like the dirt road in the original image and agree with that it makes a great leading line and I like how it disappears into the dust cloud. I agree the sign should be removed.
I see in your comment to Frank you ended up removing the sign, can yiou post your edit so we can see the results? |

I think this is an interesting subject, a lot of colors, shapes and highlights.
Sometimes less can be more. I've tried a different crop, what do you think? This crop makes it a completely different image and I don't know if it conveys what you were trying to capture. |

I too like the contrast between the flower and the rock, the colors and textures. I agree that a little more space at the top might strengthem the image. Overall, I find it a very pleasing photo. |

Thanks for your feedback Frank. I got out into the creek as far as I could. I have gone back and edited it out the limb using the heal tool in Lightroom. |

Thanks for your comments Janice. I've gone back and edited out the limb. I would have preferred to have visited at a time with better light, but was hiking with my two small grandchildren and had to settle for the middle of the day. Perhaps one day I'll get back with better light. |

Thanks for the comments. I've gone back and removed the branch. I agree that it was distracting. My goal was to capture the overall feel of the scene, the waterfall with pool at its base and the contrast of the rock ledge on the right with the bushes on the left. |
