Certainly. I think with the crop, the lines of the trees and rocks all point to the bird to emphasize it and removes the dark spot in the upper right which did not add to the image. |

I like your composition, the texture of the tree. bushes, beach and clouds.
For my taste, in the final image, the tree and beach have too much contrast. I like the lighting of the original image, especially on the tree, I think that highlights the texture of the tree trunk better. |

I agree with Janice and Larry - nice composition that needs additional sharpness. |

I liked my original crop because it showed the entire bird, but I also considered a tighter crop that emphasized more of Buster's face and body. What are your thoughts of this crop? |

Thanks for the feedback Larry.
Based on comments from you and Janice, I've gone back and re-edited my image to remove more of the background highlights and to lighten, saturate and add vibrance to Buster. I think those changes certainly helped the image.

Thanks for the feedback Janice. You're right, I probably should have adjusted f/stop to add a little more blur to the background. See my edit in response to your and Larry's comments-I've worked on the upper corner to reduce/remove more of the bright spots and lightened Buster up a bit and added some saturation and vibrance to him. |

I really like this image as well and was surprised to learn that it was not converted to B&W.
I like Larry's suggestions with the crop as well, and after considering your comments, played with the crop a little bit more and came up with this version for consideration that places the bird directly in the cross hair Rof3.
Regardless of the crop, I think this is a beautiful, peaceful image. |
