Based on the feedback, I went in and edited out the bright leaves. Here are the results. I do like it better this way. |

A great subject with good interaction between mom and baby.
I agree that a faster shutter speed would have helped sharpen the image and reduce exposure and vignetting would help make the subjects stand out.

A very nice image with great lighting, texture and pleasing colors.
I agree with Muhammed that re-cropping to provide more space in front may strengthen the composition.
Overall I think it is a beautiful image. |

I like the composition, lighting, color and the details of the leaf.
I like the play of highlight and shadows of both the leaf and the juniper. I think the juniper shadow mirrors the veins in the leaf and adds interest. |

I find this an interesting image with a sharp focus and good depth of field. I really like the colors of the frog and the catch light in his eye. He looks like he has his eye on his next meal!
I find the leaf at the frog's rear to be a little too bright. You might give consideration when cropping to move the frog slightly to the right. In my opinion, the image might be strengthened if he had a little more space in front of him.
Overall a nice image. |

Thanks for the feedback Kerry. Unfortunately a lower angle wasn't possible as I was shooting from a bridge down onto the turtle and there wasn't a way to get down lower. This is a good example of how we focus on the main subject and fail to see the background distraction. I hadn't really even noticed the distraction caused by the yellow leaf. I'll work on fixing that. |
