Nice image. I like the highlight in the hawk's eye, the depth of field, overall sharpness of the hawk and blurred the background. I agree with Janice, a great photo for identification. |

A great action shot! I love the expression on the dog's face, the dust kicking up and the movement of the dog's hind leg. You have good depth of field. In my opinion, I find the cow butt somewhat distracting. I think the dog is the main subject and the cow could be cropped down some to help focus on the dog. I don't know if it would have been possible, but a step or two to the right may have provided an angle that would have provided some additional separation between the bulls' hoofs and the dog's nose. |

Nice subject and great capture. I like the warm rim lighting and the water droplets with star bursts. As you know, I like to crop things tight (sometimes perhaps too tight), so my recommendation would be to tighten the crop to eliminate the soft focus portion of the limb and some of the light spots in the background. |

I like how you found an odd number of pelicans and I like the depth of field which allowed the background blurred. I think capturing the eyes is very important and unfortunately, their heads are turned so the eyes are not really visible. I like Thom's edit. I would have cropped the image tighter to focus more attention on the main subjects. |

Thanks for the feedback. I re-cropped the image and gave the parent a little more room at the tail. I also tried to tone down the highlights a little and I burnt in the bottom of the image and the little guys' butt some. |
