Thanks for visiting and the comments. I played around a little with the exposure and didn't find anything I liked better. |

Thanks Pauline. I have had the opportunity to photograph this bridge many times over the years and each time I crop it a little differently and have always debated what the "right crop" is. This view is one of my favorites because I think the woods on the right side help balance the image with the moss covered ledge on the left. |

I think this is a sharp image with good detail in the feathers.
I would have liked to see the subject moved up and to the right a little to capture the bird's full reflection in the water. |

Good salvage of an underexposed photo. I like how you cropped it using rule of thirds.
To me, the snow looks too blue. I played with it by adjusting whites, blacks and lowered blue saturation. I've attached my efforts. |

I find this an interesting subject and I like the way you warmed the color of the image.
To me, the overall focus of the image is too soft and the depth of field is too shallow. Based on the information provided, I don't know what shutter speed and focal length lens were used or if this was hand held or mounted on a tripod, but suggestions you might consider to get a sharper image and/or greater depth of field:
- using a tripod and remote shutter release
- significant increase of your ISO to enable the use of a smaller f/stop
- Focus stacking
I sometimes find that less is often better. You might consider taking a macro shot of just a small element of the subject. |
