75 Nov 18 Comment A very interesting photograph with great action. I like how you have positioned the bird and think the lighting really emphasizes the texture of the feathers and scales on the fish.

You might consider a slightly different crop that would have left a little more of the rocks. I also think the bird's eye could be lightened up a little.

As to your question on improving color, I played around with the image a little in Lightroom, modified the crop, reduced highlights (-17); increased shadows (+12); dehaze (+10); and added a vignette (-14) and dodged the eye a little in Photoshop. Here are my results.

75 Nov 18 Comment I like the subject matter, the diagonal lines created by the flower stems and find the colors pleasing.

I would have cropped the image slightly to move the butterfly away from the center and to eliminate the blossoms in the upper right and lower left. I think the underside of the left wing could be lightened a little and a vignette added to darken the corners.

I am attaching my edits of your photo.

75 Nov 18 Comment I find the autumn colors pleasing and I like the arch of the tree on the left. I also like the way you used the diagonal and curve of the stream to lead the viewer into the scene.

In my opinion, the story is - what is around the bend in the stream? I think that could be emphasized by cropping the image a little and adding a vignette to help focus the viewer.

Here is my version of your image. I decreased the shadows (-12); added vignette (-29); reduced the yellow hue (-9); increased yellow saturation (+20) and yellow luminance (+24)
