Where are you where you have Mandarin ducks? What a beautiful bird. Nice capture. Love the reflections. |

Thanks for the introduction to angel numbers, Yet another thing that I need to pay attention to. The photo is superb, and for me an illustration of why I find photography so interesting and challenging. So many new things to study and learn. In Vietnam one of the participants had a drone. I bet his photographs with that were outstanding. Unfortunately both astro photography and drone photography would seem to require a great deal of study, and that's hard to do and still play golf every day. I think I need smaller chunks of challenges. |

I didn't notice the eyes until every one mentioned them. They are weird and I've never noticed them before. Nice sharp image. I agree that the black goat would have added some contrast, but he is too far away to include him in a crop. The fence post serves as a reminder to constantly check for such things. Easy to avoid in the field if you notice it. Not so easy, nay impossible, in Photoshop. |

I do get around, but age is gaining on me. Some of the hiking in the rice paddies severely tested my diminishing balance abilities. Next up: Bhutan in February on another photography workshop, this one with John Greengo. Maybe after that I can find something to do that is closer than a 30 hour journey. |

A nice pano, but I wonder if it suffers from being too wide, hard because you obviously want to keep the left foreground and the leading lines on the right. The crop improves the original by removing the excess sky and water, focusing more on the colors of the trees. Too bad the original's sky is better. |
