Very nice portrayal of motion. I take it from your description that this was staged. Is so, great director skills. I vote for a tighter crop. |

Very interesting. I'd like to see the what the scene looks like in reality. Your explanation of the thought process behind the image added a lot for me. I am thinking I need to get out of my comfort zone to try things like this. I took some ICM images of the eagle hunters in Mongolia, but none of those asked for their thoughts cared for the result. Well, who are we trying to please anyway? |

Nice processing. But I agree with the suggestion to leave a little of the green at the bottom and maybe a diagonal gradient up from the bottom right to darken the exposure very slightly to keep the eye from wandering out of the frame. |

This image reminds me of why we moved south. Snow is beautiful for a day or two, but then it gets old and my back aches from shoveling. I'd rather enjoy the snow through beautiful images such as this. You've done a masterful post processing, particularly the crop. You went from an okay original, to a masterpiece. Nice. |

I find myself the contrarian. I like the color, or colour, the best, original 1 second, and original 2 third. I agree that the white bark amidst all the green is the story, and I feel that's lost in the B&W. But I'm content to be wrong. |
