This image really jumped out to me. The strong orange and blue contrasted with the silhouettes gives it such a strong impact. Maybe a tighter crop eliminated the first door on the right and the solitary person on the left might improve the impact? |

I agree with Sophie. I wondered if you were going for a high key effect. Thanks for the explanation of why the rear end shot wasn't so bad, in fact it was good. I have many of these photos from a rookery in my neighborhood. I'll have to go back and see what I missed. You've gotten the exposure of the wings and feathers perfectly to bring out the subtle details. Nice. |

It doesn't look unnatural at all to me. However, I find it a little unbalanced in that all of the light is all the right and the vee of the clouds and reflections are leading my eye out of the photo instead of in. you have to take nature as it comes, but maybe you could lessen the impact by reducing the exposure in the lower right a little. |

I agree with the suggestion to improve the right side of the photo to bring down the glare, and crop out the one transom that is distracting to me because of its incompleteness. I also wonder if the water is a little too blue. Nice study of colors. |

Great processing, although maybe it could be dialed back just a tad. |

Nice shot, I like how the photo seems to repeat the sunrise theme through its subtle colors in the reflections. Crop to 16:9 definitely adds impact. |
