We have herons, egrets, and wood storks here in SC that, with the exception a few outliers, know their fellow birds and keep a distance from one another better than my countrymen do. Maybe a more pano crop, and eliminate the sky? |

I thought it was great as is, particularly the conversion the B&W, and I agreed with your own self critique,then I read Stephan comments. It's certainly worth another try. |

It looks like you managed to increase the shallow depth of field with some sharpening? I certainly like the processed image much better than the original, the vignetting in particular. |

Excellent processing that keeps and brings out the hues without overdoing. Leading lines into the image are nice. |
