Thanks for the reference to Group 56. My kind of processing for sure. I was just reacting to a discussion of photos submitted in Interclub Competition, which limits processing to minor adjustments. The photos with the most impact were, it was argued, overly processed. Depends on the competition or group, I guess. But for photos for my own personal enjoyment I like those that "pop."

We have a similar pattern here in South Carolina. Our club theme for January/February was Winter on Dataw Island, but we had no winter. Never below freezing, frequently in the 70s, instead of a normal 50s. Nice for winter here but come hurricane season (June or earlier, to October or later), climate change is not so fun. Four mandatory evacuation in the last four years. |

Nice composition, and your typical beautiful post processing. You took a fairly ordinary photo (albeit with nice composition) and turned it into extraordinary. Thanks for providing the steps in Topaz. |

Great link Trey. Thanks. I'm with Cyndy. I think the image as is is fine and the fence is not too distracting, but I'd like to see it after removal, if you have a free afternoon. |

Nice composition for an auto show. I always have difficulty in figuring out how best to photo a classic car. The art in the background adds to the photo for me. I like your post processing, but maybe a little overdone? We're having quite the debate at my club as to what is too much, so I've been moving my sliders down a bit. |

Beautiful lines, with the sun, er - moonlight running straight down the middle.Did you shoot multiple exposures to get it right? Did you shot jpeg and RAW so that you have a color version? I'd like to see the comparison. Oops, I see you answered my question. |
