I like the series also. I think the composition is very good, but to me it looks like the girl is soft, and a move to right a bit might have illuminated the table in the background that messes with a focus on her eyes. |

Totally agree with everyone: great shot! Depth, sharpness, tonal range... perfect for me! |

I like the composition, showing only part of the aircraft, but with nice lines, and colors. |

Nice shot, and quite an improvement from the original. What would 1/20 of a second have looked like? I would like the flow toned down a bit more, particularly in the lower portion. And too bad you can't make the creek go more diagonally, upper left to lower right. |

Great shot, nice cropping. I'm liking the 1:1 also. Did you try B&W? |

Jay, Thanks for the input. It was interesting that neither I or my friend the "model" really recognized the person captured in the moment. |

You should see the photo I almost posted, of a musician friend playing his guitar at a festival, almost an exact duplicate of yours. Good pointer on the framing. I have the memo on filling the frame, but lost the one about leaving some room. I'm finding most of my portraits respond better to B&W and to 1:1, except for the environmental ones.
