76 Jul 19 Comment Once again, much appreciated Ian. I hope this doesn't mean I should stick with camels? Jul 8th
76 Jul 19 Comment Amen on the Fujifilms! I too have several: an X-T1, X-T2, X-E2, and I started with a fixed lens x100F and a full range of their excellent lenses. My Canon 70D rarely gets used, only when I need a faster focus. Our NatGeo Professional in Morocco used two X-T3s.

We did similar things in Morocco and I'm putting together a Faces of Morocco presentation for my community. The NatGeo photographer was great help in working with strangers.Something I have always had trouble with, but very much wanted to do better.

I like your photo very much: nice composition, attractive subject. I only wonder if there are too many good things going on: portrait of concentration, hands at work, and an interesting machine all compete for my attention equally. Maybe a plug-in like NIK's Exflex Pro to slightly blur and desaturate the hands and machine to decrease the competition? It's a shame, however, to lose such nice detail.

I agree with Ian: the blemishes on the face need to be removed somehow. Very distracting.

Great project!

76 Jul 19 Comment Once again, great use of light and shadows, just as you did with the cormorant. And very subtle but enhancing post. Jul 8th
76 Jul 19 Comment Might be better if it had some more environment. I'd like to see the campers interacting with the camp fire. Jul 8th
76 Jul 19 Comment Very nice touch with the fire hydrant and pedestrian. Maybe you could have asked her to back up so that she would be framed by the circle. Just kidding. You take what you get and you got a nice moment. Good eye. Jul 8th
76 Jul 19 Comment Nice feeling from this photo. For me, peacefulness, serenity, with a touch of loneliness. Jul 8th
76 Jul 19 Comment I'm with Ian on the 1:1 crop, especially for centered compositions. I like vibrancy, colors that "pop," also. Sometimes, I know, too much. Maybe a slight decease with the opacity slider? Jul 8th
