I agree with the congratulations for seeing an opportunity that most would miss. Nice mix of verticals and horizontals, and I vote for a crop of some of the floor. I also would try a B&W, unless this is a B&W? Nice Fine Art type of image. |

Beautiful shot. Every month you show me things that I would like to try. If we didn't have some many birds to shoot here, and if we didn't travel so much to photogenic places, I would have a chance to learn from you. Again, beautiful shot. |

This is a nice photo, even if taken with an iPhone. I like that a personality comes through. I enjoy taking portraits, but I find very few willing subjects, other than strangers on the street, which doesn't make for easy and good composition like yours.I probably would have added more contrast, but that's more my taste. I think your softer tones work well, maybe better for this subject and story. |

It certainly is "interesting," but I'll be in the minority of one here. I'm afraid it makes me think my dry eyes are sticking and I need some eye drops. I like to play with some of these plug ins also. I like Topaz Impression 2 the best for bringing out artistic effect.

I agree with all of the comments, but it reminds me of the north too much. Ah, what we left behind. I like the composition and the sharpening, but I'm still unclear as to which is which. They both work well, but the larger one is the better. |

I think you left off the shutter speed, or am I missing something? It must have been somewhat slow because of the water softening. We live on the ocean, seen over low country marshes, to the east. Our bedroom looks out to sunrises every morning. Some are astounding, a lot are nonexistent. But every one is different. Frequently quite magical. Nice shot.Maybe a step to the north would have put the sunrise more down a diagonal. But then maybe it works better as you have it. |

Really appreciate all comments. I was concerned and interested to see if any one felt it was over processed, and I'm happy to find that people feel the same colors I was feeling. Totally agree with trying to get the people more prominent. I spent a half hour of my wife's patience waiting and never really got interesting people any closer. |
