76 Dec 18 Comment I agree with Ian, but wouldn't it be great if there was a person walking his dog 2/3rds of the way down the path to give depth to the image and to help with your story? If we were professionals on a photo assignment we could have made that happen. Dec 9th
76 Dec 18 Comment Beautiful photograph, colors, lighting, low key. The landscape cropping and positioning work well. Two more aspects of photography I'd like to explore: macro and low key. Maybe you've inspired me, but so little time, so much to learn. Dec 9th
76 Dec 18 Comment I cast my vote for the left of center. I like the lighting on the pine needles. Best part of the photo for me. I agree with the thought of working more with the sky to bring out more cloud detail, and maybe decreasing a bit of the sun exposure. Dec 9th
76 Dec 18 Comment I shoot a lot of birds (not hunting). In fact I have a book of the birds on our sea island, with 68 different species. But alas, no kinglets, although I seem to spot them when they know I have no camera. I'm envious. I might have popped the colors a bit on the bird, and maybe desaturated the brush a little to pull the bird out a little more. Dec 9th

I took out the extraneous storks and it's a much better photo. Thanks. I resisted doing this because a lot of folks frown on such manipulation, or not? Trying to solve the issue with cropping didn't work and Photoshop sure did.
