2 Feb 19 Comment To me the most interesting part of the shot is the roots and the little new tree on the right of the trunk. I wish both of those things were in more focus. I like the color treatment and the subject a lot. Feb 22nd
2 Feb 19 Comment Very colorful! I agree with the others that cropping might help the image. I like Bob's crop because it eliminates the 2 things that distract me - the laundry in the bottom right and the grey pillar on the right side. Feb 22nd
2 Feb 19 Reply Can't believe I didn't even notice the truck..... My editing skills aren't good enough to edit it out - I'll give it a try though. I need to be more observant. Feb 5th
2 Feb 19 Comment This is beautiful! The color is just WOW. The only critique is that I wish there was more space to the right of the tree. Feb 5th
2 Feb 19 Comment I did not notice the fence support until I read your description. There are so many wonderful textures and layers to this image. The sky and roof details are where I find myself looking. I like both the original and the B&W, and I'd hate to choose one over the other. I wish there was a little more space on the left hand side, but it's really minor. Feb 5th
2 Feb 19 Comment What a unique perspective on a bird in a cage photo. I really like how creative this image is. I agree with Shirley that I prefer the original with the detail in the feathers. I like the lines in the original quite a bit. Feb 5th

57 Feb 19 Comment This is very nice. I agree with the others that a closer crop would accentuate the eyes even more. Next time you might try to get the entire eyebrow in the shot. I don't have any other suggestions - it's great. Feb 22nd
57 Feb 19 Comment Fun shot. The shape inside looks like flower petals. I think you could try a square crop on this. It would eliminate the extra space on the sides. Feb 22nd
57 Feb 19 Comment Here's one of the photoshopped images I mentioned. It isn't for this shot - but you get the idea. It was a lot of fun. Feb 8th
57 Feb 19 Comment Beautiful! I'm impressed you were able to hand hold this through a window. I've tried & haven't had much luck. I always end up with distracting backgrounds with my bird shots. Capturing this with the berry in his mouth makes it even more interesting than it already was.

57 Feb 19 Comment Great shot! The hues in this are gorgeous. Did you try a square crop? I know you are following the rule of thirds - but there seems to be a lot of space on the left. Feb 5th
57 Feb 19 Comment The colors are really beautiful. Overall I like the image a lot. The only distraction is the bright spot in the upper left hand corner. I might also play with reducing the highlight in the center of the shot.

A butterfly pavilion just opened up about 30 minutes from me. Hopefully I'll be able to visit this month to escape the winter blahs. We haven't had the extreme temps though - so I'm thankful for that.

86 Feb 19 Comment Very neat edited image. The black scale at the top does distract me. My personal preference would be to be able to read the labels better - maybe a close up on the middle 2 shelves.

But I do like the feeling of your edits.

86 Feb 19 Comment That is a very beatiful, vibrant sunset. I like the pink hues you were able to enhance with the edit. I don't use Snapseed very much so I'm not a lot of help in any of it's features. I have the article saved from PSA to read. I'm sure that being a member of this group I will grow my phone editing skills (at least I hope so). Feb 10th
86 Feb 19 Comment How creative! I really like this moody shot. And now I'm also excited to try your reflection trick. I don't think a really sharp sun would work as well with the grungy & hazy feeling of this shot. This edit is much more interesting than either of the originals. Feb 10th
86 Feb 19 Comment I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad that you are able to create images that will be so meaningful to her loved ones.

I like the edit a lot - especially the crop and the conversion to B&W. I also really like the depth of field of this image and how the out of focus leads you out of the shot.

I've ordered a couple Moment lenses for my phone, but haven't received them yet. I got the 60mm and the wide angle. If I actually use them I might go back for the macro.
