What I miss about the Oly - mainly the size of the camera and lenses (& the price of the lenses). I love the files I get from the Sony though. You should rent one & then look at the files. That's what I did before I bought into Sony. |

I sold it and switched to Sony full frame. I got a Sony A7RII when I sold the Olympus. Looking back I'm not sure why I sold it. I really loved that camera. |

I'd say this is more abstract since I don't think there's enough information in the shot alone to identify what it is. I agree with you that the color, textures and shells are great. I like it. I would have cropped a bit more on the left side to remove the strip of water - or moved back enough to have more of that water in the shot. |

I agree that having a different background would help. I think the dark grey isn't helping the mood of the shot. It almost looks like carpet to me.
Maybe another angle would have captured the steam better also. I can see that there was a little steam but it gets lost in the liquid in the cup. |

I went back and reviewed the originals before the photoshop blend of the layers. In the original shots there wasn't any ghosting areas or blur. So it was the photoshop layer blend that created that. I guess I need to find a better subject and try again. The focus stacking is a technique that I'd really like to conquer.

Wow - great shot. The focus is wonderful. The color and intensity of the eyes is remarkable.

I really like the lines and colors of this shot. It's too bad you don't have room to remove the upper left corner background, but that doesn't distract me much when I look at it. My eye stays on the curved lines of the leaf in front.

I like the effect of the plugin a lot on this shot. I use to have the EM1 & that lens & wish I wouldn't have sold it.
I don't have any suggestions - I like it a lot as is.
