Why is she covering up?--no one is paying attention to her anyway! Very good commentary about human interaction! Could we see those three youngsters in marble someday? I like the colors that separate real life from the art. I also like the position of the statue in relation to the three, the carpet leads my eye to the statue and the pillars highlight the three adolescents. Comparing the body language between the girl and the statue is also interesting! |

Another very detailed close up street portrait! I love the detail in both the person and dog, and like the grittiness of the back and white. I wonder if you had taken any other shots of this man, as perhaps changing your position may have alleviated some of the distraction from the open door. Even with that though, his strong stare definitely draws me in! Nice portrait! |

What an interesting natural frame you used to compose this shot! And it is a difficult one given the closeness of the tree and the distance to the two bathers. The scene beyond the tree is a little soft but not enough to be distracting, as I like the balance between the blue sky and the green grass with the colorful bathers in between. |

I definitely like your vantage point in this photo! The man walking towards you is nicely framed by the highlighted doorway. I see motion and action in the way the men are going in opposite directions and I like the way the reflections/shadows of the men on the pavement bring my eye into the photo. The black and white works very well with the lighting. |

That's some puff of smoke! Great sharpness and detail in the building and in the cook's tee shirt, apron and pants. The green in the building frames the man nicely and the puff of smoke is set off by the dark grey environment inside the building. The fact that you can't see any of the man's face definitely gives it an eerie feeling! Nice shot! |
