This is another nicely done portrait, close-up, sharp, with good details. Though dressed in this all too familiar outfit, he adds a matching green bandana, headphones,sunglasses, and a friendly smile. This photo definitely highlights the person and personality under the outfit. |

Yes, I agree this is about the man getting his moment in front of the camera with his sign! His expression is great! The position of the cameraman, at a higher vantage point looking down on the strikers, also adds to the story. I think it's a great shot of this sincere gentleman who was getting his point across. Nothin' wrong with slang! |

I am amazed at this tattoo and this lady's pride in her dad as a firefighter! Good sharpness in the photo to get the details of the tattoo and the firetruck in the background. I do agree with removing the right hand and I do like the closer-in crop. |

I really like the leading lines in this photograph, the walkway that leads to the Mosque, the lines of the shadow of the tree that draws me into the photo as well as the triangles that the grassy areas make. I feel the quality of the light definitely adds to the photograph. Perhaps by stopping down to f18 - 22 you could have really taken advantage of the sun and have gotten a nice sun flare or starburst effect. |

I really like this well constructed image of these three interesting young men in their traditional clothing carrying colorfully modern bags as they cross the street. The pattern in the white stripes in the crosswalk goes well with the pattern the three young men and their similar outfits make. For me, the vignette is a bit strong, almost feeling as if I'm peering at them through binoculars. The three men are very nicely focused and the close-in square crop would lead my eyes right to the men, I believe, even without the vignette. |
