Hi Priscilla, I like the composition and the combination of very different material, which is not an easy thing to do. I like having the background color similar to the flower's. I thought that maybe a lighter color tone in the background would complement the flower in a more subtle way. For some reason, I found the background competing a bit with the flower. Nice work.

Hi Neil, the wing out of focus does not bother me. It gave the idea of movement, even a special touch, to the image. The insect seems to be looking directly at us, what is funny. I like the composition, the colors, and mainly the lighting. Great work! |

Hi Paul, welcome to group 63! What a wonderful, original image. Your determination did pay off. The tonal range of the flame is very interesting against the black background. And I love the focus, showing details of the match. Great image! |

Hi Murphy, what a beautiful image! I loved "the artistic design of the Comfrey flower". The colors work so well together, the focus is wonderful showing the hairs, and a well thought composition makes it an image of great impact. Wonderful work! |

Pat, very nice, simple, sharp image. Made me hungry. I think the angle of the fruit added impact and interest to the image. The black background works wonders with the red subject and directs the viewer to focus on the details. I like the image as is, would not change anything. |
