Priscilla, intriguing abstract and even more so after reading about how it was made. I love experimenting new possibilities in photography too. The left cropping was just right and I agree with Neal and Murphy about the right and bottom areas having more space. The colors are beautiful. Nice job. |

Hi Pat, I like both versions of this image. The dark center in the original gives a wonderful contrast with the the rest of the flower. And the final work shows all the details in the center area, which are also quite interesting to the viewer. I agree with Neal about an inch more at the top. |

Hi Murphy, beautiful arrangement, patterns and color range. I like the finished version better than the original. Nice job having the leaves under water and controlling reflections! |

Neal, what an impressive shot! I think the patterns in the eyes add a special attraction to the image, making it look alive. Great job in the capture and in all the technique used. Bravo! |

Hi Bob, you are correct, it is a Portuguese-o-war. I am glad I didn't touch it. I learned its stings can be very painful.
Strong winds may drive them into bays or onto beaches and they can sting while beached. Very beautiful, though. |

Hi Priscilla,
thanks for the comments and for the cropping. I like yours better than mine, showing the hole string. Thanks. |
