Wow, it does require some expertise to get this type of image. I love everything in it, no need to further comment. Bravo, Neal! |

Hi Priscilla,
I like to see creative compositions that have the main subject in the very center of the image (against the 'rules'). That said, I like your composition, as well as your selective focus. For me, the blurry atmosphere gives a special character to the image. The exposure is just right, and the complementary colors work well. Good job. |

Hi Pat,
The main thing I like in your image is the color range. It is so beautiful. Then, the focus on the middle of the flower is really well done and as I see it, the blurriness of the petals help driving the viewer's eyes to them. Good job. The background is well done too. And I agree with Murthy about more space around the flower. Nice!

Dan, I wish your image had either the flower or the insect sharper. I found the area in focus a bit too small. I kept trying to see more details on both. But I do like the wonderful focus on the insect, with all the pollen around its face. Great job! I guess the image name corresponds to what it shows. Good job! |

For me, this image had an impact on me mainly because I have never seen a flower with those colors, and it made me curious to explore it further. I love the composition, which I found well balanced and the exposure was just right with the flowers' 'hairs' well defined. Also, I like the color range in the image, with the nice smooth green background against the colors of the main subject. Great job! |
