Thank you Murphy for your comment on the Chicago image and also for the useful suggestions about how to improve my macro/close up image. |

Hi Priscilla, nice creative interpretation of the original shot. And the perfect way to enjoy cold days indoors. |

Hi Murphy: I like your image very much. I think the B&W emphasized the forms and the lines, which also added to the composition, creating an artistic photo. The focus is right and the contrast gives depth. Beautiful. |

Hi Neal, great focus on the leaves, and the pollen is wonderful. Somehow the focus on the stigma is not sharp. I would have the background darker around the leaves to allow the white borders to pop. Also, I am attaching the image rotated to a position I personally think enhances the composition. Nice shot! |

Hi Pat, very impressive shot done handheld! I like the sharpness of the butterfly and the colors too. The background and the green stem merge very nicely. Beautiful!! |

Hi Madhu, it is not common to run across images showing the spider molting process, and your shot is valuable for its uniqueness. Wonderful timing. But also very nice composition, depth, and emotional impact. To me, the center of interest in the image would gain with a less bright leaf, one competing less with the main subject. Nice job!
And welcome to the group!

Hi Lisa, another creative composition of a frog. I like the half head showing as if it is peaking from behind the leaf. The focus of the eye is amazing. Good impact and story telling. Intriguing light that has a bright frog and a leaf lit from behind, showing its transparency. Can you give us some tips on accomplishing that? |
