Hi Neal, welcome to Macro Group 63!
Wow, the focus you got here is quite impressive. 50 images stacked involve lots of work but it was worth it. Very special image! |

Hi Lisa, thanks for the comments. Purple has been my favorite color since my teenage years. When I was a child in Brazil, purple was a weird color, always associated with death, because it was used in shrouds of adults (children would get a light blue shroud). Now I am over that fear :-) and I actually love purple!
Well, the Post processing was in Lightroom. On the white 'head', I used the radial filter to lighten up the original even more, increasing also the detail and the sharpness. Do you think it went too far? The colors of the original were pinkish and I changed that using the Temperature slider.

Hi Murphy, I intended to have that specific selective focus as that area of the image was the one I found most striking. But sure, I should try narrower apertures for different results. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Patrick, I don't know why but I would have liked this image better without the bee. The flower is beautiful and I like how the focus varies throughout the image, making me stay exploring the details of the flower for a longer time. The green background is very nice too. |

Hi Murphy, what a delicate image. It is the type of image that calm us down just by looking at it. I love the colors! Everything matches perfectly, could not be better. Wonderful!!
I read Patrick's comment and for me the blurry area on top adds some depth and makes the whole image even more subtle and delicate. I like it. |

Hi Lisa, this is such a wonderful image. I love the focus on its face and its cute expression. My eyes kept exploring the details of the lizard's body. The plain background leaves the viewer with no irrelevant distraction and the composition is great. But why white? Also, will you tell us how you took this shot? Where is this place? Is the lizard your pet? I cannot wait to hear. Great work. |
