43 Oct 18 Reply Wow. Stunning colours. You're very lucky! And you guys have orange pumpkins too! We only have boring grey ones. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Reply Thanks Mike. Its a tricky one, I too love the centre composition, although it does break the rules! But then, rules are sometimes made to be broken! Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Reply Thanks Lane. Yes, Vietnam is such a wonderful place to explore, and I can't wait to go back! Thanks for your suggestion regarding darkening the upper area of the image. I'll give that a go. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Reply Thanks Stephen. I agree with the space around the lady, however its always nice to get other suggestions try different things! Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Reply Thanks Mark. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Reply Thanks Harley, I quite like the idea of monochrome, and appreciate your suggestion with the crop. Thanks. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Reply Thanks Lane, I appreciate your suggestions. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Comment Hi Mark. The colours in the original seem a little unreal to me, but my country simply doesn't have these bursts of colour and I'm not used to seeing these colours in my natural environment! Nice image. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Comment A nice simplistic image, Lane. The detail, structure and contrasts are lovely. I like that you used monochrome, but I'm a black and white fan! It would have been nice to have had someone or something walking past, to add more interest. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Comment I love this image as much as I love old stuff! I completely agree with Lane, I can almost smell the smells associated with this environment. I do like the monochrome, but do prefer the colours. I wonder if an adjustment to the shadows may bring a little more detail? Great shot Linda! Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Comment Mike, I agree with the above comments about the leading lines, they are great and lead the eye directly to the two men. Linda's suggestions on the shadows do improve the image. Oct 31st
43 Oct 18 Comment Wow! What a gorgeous image! I can almost smell it! Beautiful detail, love the raindrops and the black background. There looks like there is a sliver of white down the bottom left hand side of the image. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing! Well done Harley! Oct 7th
43 Oct 18 Comment Connie, this is beautiful. The colours are stunning, I love the blurred background, it really makes the fuchsia stand out! The only suggestion I have is to try angling the image slightly so that the filaments come directly opposite the bottom left hand corner, to provide more of a diagonal to the flower. Well done. It's beautiful! Oct 1st
