I did not have a polarizer on the camera. I don't even think I brought one on this trip, but you are right, I should have used one. The day was pretty overcast. In fact, by the time we left this old mill it was raining.
I do have Lightroom, but am just learning it. When you say filter the sky down from the top, do you mean in Lightroom? I am planning on buying Luminar and I think I could do a lot with the sky using that program.
Thanks for your input. |

Fabulous shot. Your attention is drawn just where you want it to go. It is very sharp. The image makes me wonder who is in that cabin. I love the feeling that it leaves me with. How long of an exposure did you use? |

Good job of cleaning this cup. Becca. I am wondering if the tree on the right would look better a little blurred since it is in the distance where everything else is blurry. The sky looks great, but the wires running in the back bother me only a little. |

You did a great job bringing out the fall colors in the trees and the reflection. The crop helps a lot. It would be nice if you could have added more "life" to the sky.
I do like it. |

I love this image. I don't have experience with crystal balls, but I think you did a great job here. I tried photographing with one at a macro workshop last weekend and it was hard to keep unwanted light out.
I love that you used the tulips as the blurred background. Could you remove the bluish tint from the sides? Not knowing how crystal balls work, I can't use that as a criticism. |

I love the intensity in the kayaker's face. It is too bad that the paddle got cut off. I would like to have seen all of it. I might also have tried to remove the pole right behind him. It doesn't do anything to enhance the image.
I bet that was a tough shot to get. |

Lovely image. Whites are so difficult to photograph. My suggestions to improve this image is to give it a little more space at the top and the right side. I would also suggest using the eraser tool and remove some of the spots on the flower to the left.
Nice job. |
