Thanks for your input. I will try to crop out the buildings on the left or at least darken the reflections. |

Welcome to our group, Lara. I love this image. The light on your son's face is perfect. I recently attended a workshop where we worked on this technique. I have not mastered it yet, but am working on it. Do you know what your setting were? Very cool image. |

I have used illustrator to get this effect in some of my images. I personally love the results, but they don't stand up well in camera club competitions. So, the questions stands, who are you shooting for? I like this image, but I think if you went a little less dramatically with the short grasses in the water, they might be less distracting. |

Fun image. I like it much better in B&W with the distractions softened. There is good separation of the subjects from the background. The is great that you removed the people in the background. |

I was in a similar situation last year with a bull charging at me. I wanted to get the shot, but also wanted to live to tell about it. I am sure you didn't have time to set up the best image, but one certainly feels the excitement of what was going on. |
