Adding kudos for braving bad weather to photograph. To add to the polarizer discussion, about a 35 degree angle to water works best to eliminate the glare. I agree with cropping down from the top to the point of eliminating the sky would work. I would leave the bottom to leave the dock at the third line. An aperture of f8-11 would have worked much better for this scene. |

I swear I already commented on this image, but it is not here. In general I think you did a good job processing, the image is sharp and the shutter speed for the water appeals to my taste. Larry is on point in using the HSL sliders to target luminance and saturation - and hue - of the different greens. You likely know there is a lot of yellow in this image. I think adding clarity would help. Using the High Pass filter is PS gives more depth (setting 35, overlay blend, 60% opacity for example). For my eye, including more of the bridge in the composition would work better. |

A colorful image. I like the placement of the clock tower in the archway and the sharpness of the relevant parts of the scene. The brightness of the turquoise vehicle and the sharp man in the white short distract my eye from the subject. All other subjects are moving so I would consider removing him. I think leading vehicle lights would pull the eye into the scene but would work better if more subtle and not end with a bright vehicle. While the top of the arches are level, I agree with Larry that the verticals need to be corrected. I don't think the part of the image left of the little stand add to the story of the image so would consider cropping that out. |

Kudos for being brave enough to get this image. I mostly agree with Larry's comments except I would not crop in from the left. To my eye, the shadow on the mountain on the right appears dark for the scene. You might try to use the HighPass filter in PS (setting 30-35/overlay/?opacity) to bring out more contrast to address the flatness. |

Another intrepid adventure. I like the warm and cool colors which add depth, the texture of the cliff and that you did not have any objects terminating with the line of the landscape - a purposeful composition. To my eye it is well balanced. Would not change a thing. |

Good advice. I have tried all but your last one. |
