That is an incredible well done job of planning and post processing. The result is an image anyone would be proud to display. I do agree with eliminating the bright white light in the bottom right. To my eye, the perspective you choose is very effective in showing the majesty and size of the ship. Very well done. |

I like the composition of a foreground, midground and the distant mountain peak and the sharpness throughout. As an option to Larry's crop, I would be tempted to clone out the buildings leaving the image in a more pano mode and the star of the image, the mountain, in the middle. To my eye the foreground seems to have a magenta cast. Moving it to a more warm color (yellow) would complement the colors more. |

I agree with Larry - the sky makes the image. The colors are almost complementary and the shape of the clouds - a strong diagonal going to a S curve - add a lot of interest. The dark clouds provide balance to the lighthouse on the left. For me, leaving the lighthouse darker makes the image look more realistic. I think what Larry was saying by a longer exposure is that you could get the full reflection of the lighthouse in the water. Beautiful image |

I think you definitely accomplished your objective. My eye mostly stays focused on the building which is sharp and has architectural details. The green of the pillars and bronze of the Lincoln background are approaching complementary colors further highlighting Lincoln. The addition of people provides a strong story for me. My eye does drift a bit to the lit trees on the left and right. I might consider reducing the highlights of those. |

I can imagine this image getting a lot of attention in the agency. You surmounted the technical hurdles of capturing a changing sky in the pano. I like the composition with the sky minimized but reflected fully in the lake and the balance of the image with the bright colors on the right balanced by the trees and foreground on the left. To my eye you have just the right amount of detail in the shadow areas. Probably artistic intent, but the reflection in the water appears to match the exposure of the sky when it should be about one stop less. Overall a definite wall hanger.
