I like your composition choices - capturing the reflections in the lake, the foreground shore to add sense of depth, and leaving enough sky to give a sense of conditions. To my eye, the trees look over sharpened and a bit crispy. I agree with the added saturation and processing of the sky but would not saturate the trunk quite as much; the warm color keeps drawing my eye there. |

You certainly got a lot of atmosphere in this image. Great timing. Just me, but the image appears a bit unbalanced with the Beacon Rock on the left side with nothing of weight on the right to offset up. Similarly, the bright white lights really draw my eye so I would consider cloning those out. They may be an important part of the image so your story/artistic thoughts should prevail. |

This appears thoughtfully composed to me. I like the leading lines of the path and the framing of the castle by the trees and bushes. If I were to tweak it, I think I might subtly darken the grass in the bottom right of the path and also subtly lighten the shadow areas of the castle to draw the eye to it. Good choice on the sky replacement - it fits with the subdued light in the image.

I like the overall composition and position of the tree. It looks like it is stepping into the scene... It is balanced a bit by the limbs on the bottom right. I somewhat agree with Adi in that for me I would like to see a bit more contrast in the near hills. The sky appears a bit too cyan to my eyes but maybe that is what it was. You might work the clouds a bit more with the dehaze or clarity slider. Parts of the clouds almost looks blown out, but sometimes that look appears with our low res images for study groups.

What a great capture. The time of day seems perfect for an evening scene - nice sky color but light enough to make buildings visible and dark enough building lights are on. At first glance I thought there were two parallel streets but see you creatively framed the reflection in the building. Yes, the downsizing of images does soften them which can be a bit frustrating. Why did you choose this one rather than the light trails? |

I really like the compositional elements in this image. The rocks in the foreground add interest and a sense of place, the placement of the lighthouse effectively lets the eye see it is a point out to the water, the long exposure allows the eye to go to the sharp lighthouse since other parts of the image are smoothed, the crop of the sky keeps the top of the image darker to keep my eye in the image, the color palette gives a sense of early morning and warmth. Nicely done |
