I like your composition with the S curve and leading lines with the water flowing out in the bottom left corner. Your shutter speed matches my preference for water falls - you have flow but some texture. I agree with Larry's suggestions about upper falls exposure and cropping in from the right - or alternatively, bringing up the shadows to provide a bit more detail in the leaves. I think cropping in too much from the right would unbalance the image. |

Masterful post processing work on this one. I never would have thought about a water texture, but that certainly adds to the image in multiple ways, including color contrast. Being a finance guy, I noticed the two sides are not balanced - the right side is cropped more than the left which apparently is removing people from the image; I would have considered cropping in about the same on the left. The composition captured the building well. |

Great PS work. The moon is well blended into the image. The exposure works well for me - clearly it is night under a full moon which is well depicted. I agree with Larry's comment about the branch touching the water. However, I like the image cropped as you have it. For me, the image is about the driftwood and moon, and the moon needs space above it to give a sense of the sky. I think it would look crowded cropped down.

I meant the bright wall on the left, not the right. |

I like the effect of the lines of the water leading my eye up to the mountains and then across the top of the image. The reflections in the water add to the image. I agree with Larry that I would consider taking out the other powerline poles. For me, I would also consider taking out the white branches in the bottom left of the image which are more a distraction - again just me. You have tried a style that looks painterly to me. That would be a personal preference. |

I think this is a great composition. Iron Mike certainly takes the attention being placed in the center. The contrast and angle of view further draws my eye to the statue. Looking up makes Iron Mike a more imposing figure. A couple of thoughts: The bright wall on the far right attracts my eye. If the brightness could be brought down to balance the image with the right side, that would seem beneficial to me. The sky to me appears almost like a B/W part of the image. I would consider maybe adding some color to the clouds - maybe warming them up, or consider making the whole image B/W. |
