Really good job in post processing. I would not have guessed what your shutter speed was. Good choice - it shows the power of the falls. I would consider removing the red tint from the water to make it look more natural. |

I like the composition with the centering of the bridge which frames the pagota in the background. Also having the trees on each side of the image adds a framing effect. To my eye, there is too much color and brightness going on with the light trails. I would consider reducing the luminance and saturation, but that is just me. |

Nice use of the long lens. I like the slope of the landscape which adds more energy to the image. The moon looks sharp even though anything under 1/250 sec is considered slow. I could consider just tightening up the crop a bit to get rid of the extraneous trees at the bottom. You might try going to the HSL panel and adding luminance and saturation to the orange and yellow hues to make the color pop more. |

I really like the composition and the post processing. You are right the road leads the eye to the buttes. To me it was a good choice to highlight where the sun hits but leave the rest of the butte in a shadow, creating a very natural look. The sky is nicely done as well. My only suggestion is to subtly darken the bottom of the road to drive the eye to the part of the road leading the butte. |

Making this low key was a good creative choice. I agree with Richard about the wall, but an option is just to darken it more so it does not attract the eye. As a suggestion, and admittedly it may not look right, is to brighten and add contrast to the church so it stands out and using the radial tool, further darken the area surrounding the church (or use a vignette); the goal would be to make the church a strong presence in an otherwise dark world. |

A very clever use of PhotoPills to get what you wanted. I like the post processing which kept the scene very natural looking. Initially I thought about B/W but then I see the blue in the building provides a complementary color to the yellow/orange of the grasses. I like that the fallen tree in the foreground takes the eye to standing trees, the bright shaft of light and then to the shed - all well placed in the composition. Maybe just my eye, but it appears that the composition leans slightly to the right. |

Fortunately the winds were "only" 50 mph where we were. The 141 was on a peak in the Southern Sierras. |
