I think you are right. I do have a version cropped close to what you suggest. This is the Palouse area of Washington State which in fact is called "America's Tuscany." The landscape for the 5,000 square miles is amazing especially with the spring and fall field colors. All photographers should go there - but be courteous to farmers. |

Looks like you hit the hyperfocal distance right on. Nicely done. The whole image looks well processed to me, especially the clouds. The choice of a portrait orientation was best. A nit suggestion would be to eliminate the red band in the lower left of the image. I wonder what the image would look like if you moved slightly right - maybe you were in the right spot though. |

A really nice job of post processing and good choice for HDR. I also would suggest lightening the landscape, especially, the road just a bit since it seems that would be more compatible with the bright moon, and would warm up the moon slightly so it also fits better with the color balance of the rest of the image. You obviously know there would not be a full moon in this position at sunset and this size but it does make for an interesting image. |

My initial reaction was the same as Arne's but then I saw the title. I like the dark mood and the color, but still struggle with the idea that initially I had a hard time determining what the objects are. Agreeing with Arne, I could see this as a pano. A more radical suggestion is that the image is an extreme crop of something just a bit larger the and bottom right 1/9 section of the whole image. However, I do like the reflection of the sun on the water and on the side of the cruise ship. |

The sky replacement in Luminar 4 is amazing. I have seen some other images done with it. I like the composition in this one with the placement of the tree on the right and details available in the ground. It appears that the color temp of the sky and tree match so nice. Just me, I would crop down from the top some. |

Looks like a sharp image with the details in the cliff brought out by the time of day. As Arne said, you were there at the right time. My suggestions would be to lighten the waterfall and take some of the brightness out of the trees. For me, my eyes went to the trees first and then picked up the color in the waterfall. |
