36 Aug 19 Comment Perfect timing and composition. Love the shutter speed. Great reflection of the sky on the beach. I don't have any suggestions other than if it were my image, I might try to diminish the blown out area by creating another layer and painting and blending in the surrounding color. Powerful image Aug 8th
36 Aug 19 Comment I like that you went with a pano crop, used a shutter speed to capture the bird and wave action and captured the details in the clouds. This image to me has real presence - makes one feel like they are being there - so well done. For me, I would consider bringing up both shadows and details in the mountains to draw the eye more there. Aug 8th
36 Aug 19 Comment I think you need more color and saturation in this image.... Seriously, a nicely captured moment with the balloon and tower next to each other while giving space at the bottom without people (avoiding any distractions) but including people with the activities. I am a bit conflicted about the sky. I think I might prefer the sky be one tonal value whether lighter or darker rather than being darker on one side. A good summer shot. Aug 8th
36 Aug 19 Comment Unfortunately all of Richard's comments are truncated. It appears he suggested you incorporate a sharp image of the boat which I agree with. I really like the long time exposure which makes this a stellar image and like the slight magenta cast to the sky. I like where you positioned the shot so the dock and rock lead to the boat and island. The alignment of these and the boat lead me eye in a circle through the picture. Well done Aug 8th
36 Aug 19 Comment "Luck" was planning to be there at sunset. Nicely seen. You have left enough shadow detail to let the bridge supports be visible. Is it my eye, or is the image tilted a bit to the right? For me, I like the light from the fort; it provides a point of interest. This is a really nice image. Aug 8th
36 Aug 19 Comment Great color palette and composition. It appears Richard's comments were truncated but I agree if he said clone out the sign. Good use of leading lines and a bit of S-curve to add interest. For me, I would gently lighten the shadows and bump clarity to offset any flattening. It appears to my eye you used a really wide angle lens so have a bit of distortion on the ends of the image. Not a biggie but you might think about a minor lens correction. Aug 8th
36 Aug 19 Reply Thanks. I was debating the bottom crop point. Aug 8th
