I also like the sharpness in the image, the exposure level, DOF and overall composition with the valley leading up to the glacier and a sense of scale and distance evident. The only suggestion I have is to try this in B/W. |

It is easy for me to follow Bill since I can usually say, yep, I agree with Bill. A few other suggestions: If you are not a purist, I would clone or use the PS healing brush to remove the white fence posts. I would consider bringing out some more details in the shadows in the far cliffs, but there may be a noise issue with that. I like that you left some land around the water so the water did not run out of the frame. |

I agree with Bill about your bracketing the image with the towers, and I love the colors you captured in your image. The remaining pinpoints of light do not bother me. The cropping looks just right to me. I realize it was impossible to get the exposure right without blowing out the flames. If you wanted to get creative, create a blank layer in PS, use the color selection tool to pick a color near the flame and paint in the blown out highlights in the new layer with a really soft brush. Then blend it in with opacity. |

It is amazing you got the water smooth but the boat on the water still appears sharp to my eye. It looks like to me you are trying to give a sense of place. If possible I might have tried to move to the left to give more information on the right shoreline. I like that the whole reflection of the boat is in the water. I might consider cropping down just slightly from the top. Personally, I do prefer the blue tones to the warmer tones you selected, but that is just because I like blue.... |

At first I thought I was looking at one of my shots, but this is well done. I like the saturation and placement of the flagpole and red outbuilding. Good timing to get the unfurled flag and red lighthouse light too. My one suggestion would be to crop in a bit from the left and right or clone out the fence on the left. |

I like the position of the tower and the path in the image and that you choose a DOF that got the entire image sharp. I agree with Bill's suggestions but given what you have I would consider bringing out the shadows/exposure of the tower and bushes and maybe even lightening the tower itself more and really darkening the sign. I would also consider darkening the sky a bit and perhaps cropping down a bit from the top. |
