This would be a really difficult shot to manage well, and you did it. It could have easily been underexposed. Like the landscape just along the bottom of the image and the starburst effect and rays from the sun. A superb image to share with the group. |

Beautiful image. The land line runs about through the middle so you might choose whether you want to emphasize the ground or sky more by cropping up or down. I would lean toward bringing slightly more color and detail out of the ground and cropping up some. But still, the simplicity and color palette are wonderful. |

Great sky and time of day to take the photo. Good placement of the boat. Like the sharpness you got of the boat. This would make a good stock photo. No suggestions for improvement |

Good choice of shutter speed. Nice sharpness up close but it looks like sharpness falls off as you move into the image but with f16 it may have been the effect of the wind. I agree leaving some drops on the lens just adds to the effect. If you decide to do any more post processing, I would bring out a little more detail in the shadows on the cliffs and bring down the highlights in the sky. |

Timing is everything.... Nicely seen. Like the sharpness throughout the image and the amount of saturation you applied. On one hand I like the pieces of blue emerging in the sky, but on the other could see the sky cropped and darkened a bit which would move the rainbow out of the center and create a storm versus sun contrast in the image. |

Love the composition. The image looks a little flat on my monitor so could use some clarity or curves adjustments. It appears there are a number of dust spots in the image which could be removed. I would crop a bit from the bottom (enough to eliminate the white wave) and the top to make this more of a pano. To get this good an image by doing a pano from a moving bus is an extraordinary piece of photography. |
