The colors really pop in this image. I like the position of the rocks and that you have a way for the eye to escape between the rocks into the open water. My only suggestion is to crop just a smidge (technical term) off the top - just down to above where the clouds are showing color. This also moves the horizon more above the center of the image. You nicely managed the light level at the bottom of the image - it is dark enough for detail but keeps the eye from dwelling there. |

Great color and exposure. I have never seen starburst effects like these. Was this HDR? I like that the traffic is stopped on the right side. The blur of the cars going through seem somewhat distracting to me, but I realize you can't control that. The only alternative would be to take several images and blend out the traffic. Enjoyed looking at this one. |

Excellent composition, Hattie. I like you left the image dark to reflect time of day and also left it very warm. The ramp invites you to the boat. My only suggestion would have been to stop down more than f4 so the entire image would be sharp starting with the railing. That is minor though because the eye gets past the initial softness and focuses on the sharpness in the rest of the image. |

Lovely image and like the choice to blur the water and highlight the middle of the image. The sky may be accurate, but looks a little over processed to bring out the magenta and teal colors to me. I like the leading lines of the cliffs and the fact that you have separation between the cliffs and horizon line of the water. |

Been there; this is a great capture. It appears you hit peak color - the colors are brilliant. Like the leaves in the foreground and the framing with the tree, but would darken the bottom slightly since the brightness of the leaves draws the eyes away from the homestead. If you are not a purist, you might lighten the shadows in the barns and increase the red saturation. |
