Loved where you placed the bushes and the focal length of the lens you used. I would only reduce the highlights on the mountains and leave the rest of the exposure as is. I would not want the clouds any darker. This image really grabs your attention. |

Good eye to see this composition. Amazing star effect from just f16 and motion on the water at 5 sec. My sense from looking at this on my screen is that you have a hint of noise so can't do much more with the darker parts of the image. Could be wrong. I might do a slight perspective correction to straighten the wall. Overall, an attractive image you just like to look at to see more details. |

Really like the composition with the foreground, reflections and color plus the ripples in the water versus a long exposure shot. I agree the sky could be enhanced a bit. There is a technique if you are a PS user. Create a new layer, get a really soft brush and pick the color in the area not blown out and paint over the blown out area. Blend in with opacity. This expands the color area of the sky and looks natural when you get good at it. Beautiful image as it stands. |

It looks like we are approaching a consensus on a number of comments. Nice job of pulling out color and contrast. I don't have a problem with the road going straight but the pull off area on the right is distracting. I would clone out the orange pole too, but then I am not a purist. |

The clouds, sun and time of day make you feel this is the second coming of Christ. Good, simple image. You might try cropping in some from all but the left side and see if you could bring out slightly more contrast in the clouds, but this is a pretty powerful image as is. |

The kayaks make the picture something other than a record shot; nicely seen. I agree with Bill's comment about cropping up from the bottom and right side a bit. The original looks a little heavy on the left side, and I would have liked to have seen just slightly more room left of the boat. Maybe there was a lot of junk over there though. However, with Bill's crop, this is less of a matter. This would make a great Rockport travel poster. |
