Agree about the light and place. Nicely seen. I like the sharpness of the foreground tower. It is a great image as is. If I wanted to get really, really picky, I would suggest a slight crop to get the shadow from coming straight out of the corner and move in over the very small tower on the right which looks a bit crowded right at the edge of the frame, but those are really personal nits. |

Great reflections. My first glance reminded me of a Mardi Gras mask. I liked you left texture in the water to give a sense of place and let the sun go below the horizon to avoid a blown out spot. The amount of texture visible in the shadows looks right to me. The only suggestion is to change the wonky horizon to level it; it is definitely curved. |

I really like this image. Taking Oliver's comment into account, I would only lighten the shadows enough to begin to allow a little detail to start to come through but basically keep the profile you have. In a larger image, some detail may in fact be there, but it is hard to see on the screen here. Instead of making the sky more blue, I would enhance the orange color effect of the sky more. |

Wow, Hattie, what a fascinating photo, and it is sharp and well exposed. Personally, I think I would try cropping the line from the bridge and city lights off the top of the image and maybe come in a bit from the left to reduce the whiteness of the light source. But still, what a great capture. |

I agree with David's and Richard's comments and like the crop that Richard provided. It looks like the sun was low enough to give you good texture in the lighthouse and rocks. Sometimes you do not get to choose time of day for a shot. |
