I like the symmetry and the pattern of lines created by the structure and shadows. Good work dealing with the bright areas in the lower corners. |

The monochrome is certainly more interesting than the original. I like the leading lines from the railings left and right. The high contrast level gives it a graphic art flavor. |

I like the composition and eye contact. It draws me into the picture. Good call on the crop. Maybe a little more contrast. |

This image reminds me very much of works by Escher. My eye wants to follow the spiral down the stairs to the landing at the bottom. Its well toned, and sharp. I do like the monochrome more than the color version.(Did the hotel have an elevator?) |

I like the leading line the stone wall on the left makes. Also the depth created by foreground lighthouse and background boats and trees. The lighthouse wall is pretty featureless. Is there any texture that might be drawn out in post? If not, there really isn't enough detail for it to be positioned so prominently in the center of the image. Ditto on the color balance. |

I like the symmetry and the toning. I agree with Suzanne, its very hard to see where the image ends and the computer background begins. One option on photos like this is to include a thin white stroke around the edge. You might also remove the hint of the stem at the bottom, but that's a small thing. |

Great fish portrait. I like how the blue and yellow colors work together. I don't know that I agree with Suzanne, about removing the branches, but I would crop from the top to eliminate the bright area at top right and maybe even the bright rock top left. The image is a little soft, but probably because of some murkiness in the water. One of the aftermarket sharpening apps might fix that. How did you avoid reflections? |
