11 Feb 25 Comment A very mysterious and foreboding image. Not knowing what it is adds to the mystery. For me, the bright root section in the lower left corner is a distraction from the main part of the image. I wonder what it would look like if it was cropped from the bottom to eliminate it and a little from the left to maintain right left balance. Feb 24th
11 Feb 25 Comment I love the river leading line taking you into the image, and the sense of depth from the London Eye car in the foreground. I'll be in London with grandkids this Thanksgiving - will have to take them to the Eye. I hope the weather will be as clear as it was for you. Feb 24th
11 Feb 25 Comment The image does a great job of capturing the frost/fog atmosphere that I remember before moving to the desert from Chicago. I agree with Henry regarding the vignette. Feb 24th
11 Feb 25 Comment I like the mirror symmetry between the insects at the top of the image and bottom. I also like the strong contrast between the insect bodies and wings - I'm OK with them not being lighter, I think it adds to the drama. Feb 24th

17 Feb 25 Comment Beautiful bird, well captured. I don't think the leaf adds to the image. Feb 12th
17 Feb 25 Comment I like the colors and how you captured the action. Were you shooting continuous? If so, I'd love to see the picture after this one, with the ball closer to batter, especially if he is starting to swing. I wonder what a crop of the lower right quarter of the image showing only the umps, catcher, batter, first baseman and runner would look like. Feb 12th
17 Feb 25 Comment Interesting photo of an antique. I like the foreground, background layers that give depth to the photo. For me the selective colorization is a bit much. Perhaps decrease saturation, or do as a monochrome and emphasize the horn by brightness/contrast or blurring the background. Feb 12th
17 Feb 25 Comment I like the composition, juxtaposition of the three marchers and the banner. I'm not sure what you mean by distractions, but I don't see anything that detracts from this photojournalism image. It would be nice if the banner was more prominent - not sure how to do it without getting farther from the subject and using a long lens to compress the space. Feb 12th
17 Feb 25 Comment I like the colors, composition and blurred background. Some of the bright areas around the birds neck appear blown out. Perhaps recoverable in Camera Raw Feb 12th
17 Feb 25 Comment Interesting artifact from a different time. Monochrome works well. Consider cropping bottom, maybe to just below the weld seam, to bring more focus to the anchor, and balance to the image. Feb 12th
