Great job freezing the backlit galloping horse and rider. I like the little bit of detail left inside the silhouette, I don't know that there is a universal make it black or leave detail rule - depends on the situation. A few technical details. The photo doesn't look level to me, horse and fence posts look tilted to the left a little. Also, is iso 20000 a misprint? |

The bird and composition are well done. I know this could be considered sacrilege, but you might consider cropping from the bottom, leaving in about half the tail feathers. The audiences brain will fill in the rest of the feather, and it would bring more emphasis to the bird and eliminate a lot of empty space that doesn't really add to the image. Second the comments on brightness and wire. |

Not a lot to add to previous comments. I do think a monochrome image with a dramatic sky and a brightened building standing out from the background would work well. You can get away with a lot more in monochrome. Last - the line down the center of the building doesn't look quite vertical to me.
I just upgraded to a Lenovo S24 phone from my ancient steam powered one. I expected to replace much of my "heavy" camera work, but that hasn't been the case. The issue is ergonomics. In bright light, I can't see the screen. I also wear reading glasses, which I need to have on to use the phone, but have to take off if looking at the subject without the phone. Last - i dislike having to drill down through menus to make adjustments, and my fat fingers don't always land where they should. I'm sticking with my heavy gear for now, perhaps hire a sherpa. |

Cars are hard to do. I've gone to a number of shows and rarely come away with an image I like. I agree with the comments about reflections and upper and lower left arcs - they take away from the simplicity of the image. But it might be possible to de-emphasize them by selectively darkening them and increasing brightness of the emblem. |

I like the leading line of the repeating shrubs taking you to the bridge, which then leads you across the river. The pink of the clouds and green of the shrubs also works well together. I don't know that the brightened version works better for me. The shrubs are so much brighter than the rest of the image that my eye sticks there without moving further into the image. My preference would be to brighten the trees above the bridge a little to make it more of a "destination" for my eyes as it moves along the shrubs and then the bridge and leave the shrubs as they are. |
