Thanks for the kind words Joe,
Surely there is room for you to be added back?

I like the scene and the way the leading line of the breakwater takes you to the lighthouse, but once there the lighthouse is so small that my eye keeps going back to the brighter rocks in the foreground. I hope you don't mind, but I made a few edits that I think preserve the composition intent, but bring more focus to the lighthouse. Also increased overall contrast but darkened highlights so more detail was visible in the lighthouse and rocks in background. |

I just spent 10 days at Glacier National Park hoping to see a bear, among other creatures. Never saw one. Object of the "false charge" was very lucky.
Great capture. I like the blurred background and the catch light in the bear's eyes. I would consider cropping about a quarter of the bear from both the left and half of the space in front of the bear on the right, plus a little off the top to make the bear even more prominent in the image.

Great job removing people, I can't see any sign of them. My only addition relates to how the image is cropped. The road leads you into the image - to a bright area which catches your eye. But there is so much of the image higher up that my eye goes up to, then back to the bright area, repeat, repeat.
I'd like to see a bit of a crop at the bottom, and a strong crop from the top - about a quarter of the image - so that the bright area is more explicitly the focus of the image. The gnarled branches up are also very interesting. Perhaps there is also a different version here with brightness adjusted to bring more attention to the top and less to the bottom. |

I like the pose (especially the eye contact), the toning, color saturation, sharpness. In short, I think you nailed it. The only thing I would change is to crop from the right, perhaps even into the elbow, so that his head is moved closer to the center of the image. |

Just a few things to add to Glenn and Peter's comments. Staying with the photo as is, I think cropping from the bottom to just below the covered elbow would help bring more attention to her face. For me, the look of distraction was not achieved - I think it would require more facial expression. |
