Great job keeping the eyes and face in focus while blurring the rest of the image. I really like the direct eye contact. First fox I've seen with ear rings. |

Great job getting the shot. I love the colorful animals, and so many of them. I wonder if cropping out the barricades would make the image even better. Also, to my eye, the image - as judged by the vertical poles in the center, is not level. |

You've succeeded in portraying the contrast between new and old life. I very much like the yellow and green contrast from the daffodils. If I could make a few suggestions ... Crop from the right so only the two headstones and daffodils are visible, and desaturate the orange on the taller headstone so the old is monochromatic and the new is colorful. |

The combination of the painting's eyes staring out, and the audience eyes starting back (I assume they were staring) is striking. But for some reason, my eye keeps going to the silhouettes in the lower left corner. I wonder if something like photoshop content aware fill would be able to remove them while keeping the integrity of the painting. |

Very interesting combination of colors shapes and lines. On seeing the image for the first time, I thought it was a beer can. Rex Acme would be a great name for a craft brew. |

Thanks LuAnn,
There really isn't that much to say about creating this image. The location we were doing the model shoot at has a lot of interesting features. I noticed this combination of shapes and colors, and took the shot. Since I was shooting from below there were converging lines, which I straightened somewhat in post. I boosted the saturation somewhat in post, but Arizona skies are really that blue. |
