I love the colorful chairs and how they recede into the background. Too bad there isn't a lobster in the pot.
Beyond that, my reaction depends on your intent. As a memory of the trip, its fine just as it is. If it was an image I was trying to take for hanging on the wall, or competition, I'd try and simplify the image by focusing on the chairs and lobster pot. Perhaps a higher angle would give more flexibility to crop tightly around the chairs and pot - maybe even eliminating the frame structure at the right. |

Joe, my first reaction as an ex-sailor is that they are too close to the rocks!
Framing the boat in the rocks works for me. I find the rocks to be a bit bright, and the boat a bit dark. I think adjusting their relative brightness would cement the boat as the focal point of the image. |

Peter, you are operating in a different dimension than I can. I love the central image and the background is perfect. Reminds me of something from 2001 - Space Odyssey. |

Marisa, we have a somewhat similar cactus - Blue Monstrose, Cereus Peruvianus, that also blooms at night for only one day - but ours typically has a few blooms every year. I'm not sure from your comments which image you intended to submit, but I like the one with two blooms.
The blooms are sharp, and the whites are not over exposed. How did you light the flower? Was it a flash? I think that the image would benefit from just a little more light on the background to provide context and to keep the blooms from looking like they are just hanging in the air.

Great photo - Love the colors and the sky. I'm with Joe on the lighting. I thought it might be due to sky replacement, but the reflection of the sun in the water convinces me its real.
I think the right half of the balloon could be brighter to help make it the focal point of the image. My eye keeps getting drawn to the sunset. |

Very interesting image. Flamingo is playing peek a boo with you. A few observations:
I find the background a little distracting. I think darkening it would make the bird more prominent.
My eye keeps looking for a focal point. Normally this would be the bird's eye, but the bright feathers near the head keep drawing my attention away. Perhaps make the head a little brighter and darken the feathers near the head to blend in more with the other darker feathers in the body. |

I agree with Joe. Also, you need to give us some background information...circumstances under which the photo was taken, how it was processed, technical information on the exposure (camera type, focal length, f stop, etc.) |
