Great Composition, perhaps crop a little at the bottom up to the line of shrubs on the left so that the rocks don't dominate the scene as much - the colors are highly saturated, but if that is what you like, why not. I agree with Joe N about the halo effect. |

Love the colors and the way the line of the beach leads you into the image. Only thing that might make it better is someone standing on the left looking towards the sunset. Were you there alone? A photographer friend has an inflatable Santa Claus to use in such situations. |

Great job on the motion effect and combining focus stacked and blurred images. A few suggestions, is there more stem that could be included at the bottom? Depending on the effect you are going for, you might want to increase saturation. Last there is what looks like a sensor dust spot on the right edge near the top. |

I like the feeling of depth. The shack has a great deal of character, but my eye keeps getting drawn to the boat - its brighter and the contrast around it is greater. Perhaps increasing brightness/vibrance/saturation at the shack, and if needed decreasing brightness of the boat would help make the shack more dominant. |

I agree with Peter and Joe's comments about the bird (great image), and the background (a little distracting), but I think the greatest improvement opportunity is the eyes - so black they seem lifeless (and for me a little creepy). Hope you don't mind - I did a simple edit in Lightroom just using an adjustment brush to increase exposure. I think the eyes become more of a point of focus, and keep me from spending as much time looking at the background. |

Hi Marissa - welcome to the group. I Like the way the trees frame the pond and fountains. I agree with Joe and Peter's comments about cropping and increased contrast (saturation too perhaps). It would be useful to know what editing software you have and how you edited the picture. |

Thanks Peter - focus stacking was done in computer using Helicon Focus. |
